Door Knockers of Paris

Recently I visited Paris for 5 very full days. While there I spent a lot of time walking everywhere, sometimes 15 km a day according to my Apple step counter.

While wondering along the streets, I became slightly obsessed with the quality and variety of all the different door knockers. This may sound a little unusual in the city of light and love, but I became fascinated by the different shapes, weights and sizes. The beautiful colours of the doors themselves added that ' je ne sais pas quoi'.
